Abstract

PURPOSE:To inspect the state of a wall surface to which a person can not approach, by mounting a wall surface photographing mechanism to a chassis capable of running while being sucked to a wall surface and monitoring the pick-up image by the photographing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism A for photographing a wall surface W and a tile peel-off detection mechanism B are mounted to a chassis C capable of running while being sucked to the wall surface W. The chassis C is cooperated with a control part or an apparatus group R by a cable and the running control of the chassis C, the control to the wall surface photographing mechanism A, the reception from both of them or the reception from the tile peel-off detection mechanism are performed in the control part R positioned at the arbitrary place spaced apart from the wall surface W.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a wall surface inspection device, and more particularly, a crack condition (width and depth) in a vertical or inclined wall surface of a building made of mortar or tiles, or a crack condition between tiles. This invention relates to a device for visually inspecting the condition of joints and caulking.

When such inspections are performed with the naked eye from the ground using a telescope or telephoto camera, the high parts of the wall are viewed diagonally from below, making it very difficult to see the condition (width and length of the crack). The drawback is that it is difficult. On the other hand, constructing scaffolding or using gondolas to inspect the wall surface from nearby would not only require an extremely large number of man-hours, increase costs, and take a long time to conduct the inspection, but it would also be dangerous. Another drawback is that some areas cannot be inspected depending on the location.

The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to eliminate the need for scaffolding or gondolas, even on walls that include high places or dangerous areas that cannot be directly approached by people. It is an object of the present invention to provide a device that can accurately inspect the condition of a wall surface from any location away from the wall surface in a short time and at low cost.

That is, for example, a mechanism for photographing the wall surface is mounted on a vehicle body that can be moved to any location on the wall surface by remote control, and the resulting image of the wall surface can be displayed on a monitor TV at any location, such as on the ground. This allows you to check the condition of cracks, joints, and caulking on walls at any time and at your convenience, just as if you were looking at them from a close distance. Furthermore, by installing monitor televisions and the like, it has become possible for multiple people, including not only the person in charge of the construction work but also the client, to visually check the inspection results at the same time. In addition, even if the wall surface includes small parts that people cannot directly approach or dangerous high places, the vehicle body can be moved arbitrarily to remove such small parts or high places without using scaffolding or gondolas. Since inspection of specific parts can be easily carried out, it has become possible to inspect the condition of wall surfaces very safely, in a short period of time, and at low cost.
