Claims

A water washer, a water spout installed vertically in the water washer, a sensing part that detects a user and generates a sensing signal, a control part that generates an output signal based on the sensing signal, and a valve opening device that receives the output signal. In an automatic faucet equipped with a solenoid valve for supplying water to a water discharging device, the control unit and the solenoid valve are housed in a substantially rectangular case and placed in a space below the washer, and the inflow side connection port of the solenoid valve is connected to the case. It is rotatably connected to the outflow part of a faucet that protrudes from the top surface and is installed on the wall below the water washer, and the outflow side connection port is located at a position that is offset to the case periphery side with respect to the above-mentioned inflow side connection port. A gooseneck-shaped flow pipe is made to protrude from the bottom surface of the case, and consists of a falling part and a rising part that communicate with the outflow side connection port via a connecting part, and the rising part is connected to the water discharging device.
