Examples include those that are partially three-dimensionally crosslinked, or those that are obtained by graft polymerizing the hydrophilic polymerizable monomers, oligomers, or cooligomers described above onto polysaccharides such as starch and cellulose. These polymeric water-absorbing agents are brought into contact with the object to be treated through a water-permeable film, and the water-permeable film is, in principle, made of polymers that have a certain degree of water resistance and that have been gelled by absorbing water. Any hygienic film that allows only water to pass through and not the water absorbing agent may be used.

Incidentally, the water-permeable film does not need to be entirely water-permeable, and the agent may be mixed with a hydrophilic paste, and the mixture may be applied to one side of the water-permeable film and brought into contact with the object to be treated. In this case, the hydrophilic thickening agents include natural products such as carrageenan, alginate, agar, gum arabic, tracantoga 1\, pectin, starch, gelatin, casein, albumin, shellac, konjac mannan, and other chemically modified substances. Modified products and various other products such as polyvinyl alcohol and polyacrylic acid are used. Furthermore, a sheet formed by mixing the above-mentioned polymeric absorbent with an adhesive paste and sandwiching it between water-permeable films may also be used. In this case, the surface that does not come into contact with the object to be treated does not necessarily have to be water-permeable, but may be a water-impermeable film, such as a thermoplastic resin film such as ordinary polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyvinyl chloride. It's fine.

In some cases, the inner surface is coated with a hydrophilic paste to enhance its water-absorbing power, but the moisture is absorbed from the surface that comes into contact with the food, and this is absorbed by the internal polymeric water-absorbing agent, resulting in a second grade. The moisture content of the food decreases rapidly, the food does not change its color, taste, etc., and prevents the formation of drips, which has a very favorable effect on the material, and as a side effect, it improves the food's texture. It has the effect of tightening the knife and making the knife easier to handle.

It only needs to be refrigerated, and the operation is extremely simple.
