It is easy to misread the scale, and the scale gets dirty with dirt, dust, oil, etc., resulting in a reading of <7.

A so-called digital tape measure that digitally displays the result as a numerical value was devised (for example, see Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 50-3306!), which solved the above-mentioned drawback. New problems such as 1j and below have arisen in digital tape measures, and improvements to these problems have been desired. In other words, since a large number of small holes are arranged in the elongated body for length measurement, the strength of the elongated body decreases, and stress is concentrated on the small hole part due to external force, making it easy to break. Furthermore, during use, the small holes become clogged with dirt, dust, oil, etc., which tends to cause detection errors, and the aesthetic appearance of the product is also poor.

尺を提供することを目的とする。The present invention has been made in consideration of such conventional problems, and includes a main elongated body for length measurement and a sub-elongated body for counting that operates in response to the operation of the main elongated body. To provide a digital tape measure which does not cause detection errors due to damage of one main elongated body by being installed inside a tape measure case and has a good appearance as a product.

Since the display part of the digital display means that displays the detection results of the detection means is provided on the outer surface of the tape measure case, the strength of the main elongated body is sufficient and it is resistant to damage, dirt, dust, and oil. Detection errors due to dirt such as dirt do not occur, and the product also has a good aesthetic appearance.
