Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the early actuation of an automatic temperature regulating device, by providing a power limiting circuit, which limits the amount of power supply only to an electric foot warmer at a receptacle for the electric foot warmer, thereby reducing the amount of heating of the electric foot warmer when an electric carpet and the electric foot warmer are both used. CONSTITUTION:When a power source switch 13 of an electric foot warmer 14 is closed, an automatic temperature regulating device 7 is actuated and a first relay switch 8 is closed. Then, a heater 5 of a carpet main body 1 is counducted, and a power limiting circuit 12 is actuated. Thus power is supplied to the electric foot warmer 14 through a receptacle 10. The power limiting circuit 12 intermittently opens and closes a second relay switch 11 at a specified period. Therefore, the amount of power supply to the electric foot warmer 14 is limited to a lower value, and the amount of heating is suppressed. Meanwhile, by the conduction of the heater 5, the entire carpet main body 1 is slowly heated. Since the amount of heating of the electric foot warmer 14 is suppressed low, the part of the carpet main body 1 under the electric foot warmer 14 does not especially become higher temperature than the other part. Namely, the temperature of the entire carpet main body 1 is uniformly increased. When the carpet is heated to the preset temperature, the automatic temperature regulating device 7 starts to operate.

However, when placing an electric kotatsu on top of this electric carpet 1- and using both together, the lower part of the electric carpet receives heat from the electric kotatsu and quickly rises in temperature. The automatic temperature control device operates due to the rise in temperature of the temperature sensing line of the part, and the heater quickly turns g7i'
I end up getting R. For this reason, although the part of the electric carpet below the electric kotatsu gets warm, other parts of the carpet do not warm up to an appropriate temperature, and there is a drawback that sufficient heat cannot be obtained for the buttocks and the like.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be applied to an electric carpet and one embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. In Figure 1, there is J3, and 1 is)
2 is a flat control box installed in the corner of the carpet body 1; 3 is a power cord connected to the controller 1 to the roll box 2 via a connector 4; A heater 5 and a temperature sensing wire 6 are both buried in a meandering manner in substantially the entire area of the main body 1. Now, in FIG. 2 showing the electrical configuration, 7 is an automatic temperature control device for the carpet body 1, which is connected in series to the heater 5.
This is a well-known structure in which the first relay switch 8 is controlled to open and close by a control circuit 9, and the amount of heat generated by the heater 5 is controlled by using the change in impedance according to the temperature of the temperature sensing wire 6. Specifically, when the temperature of the carpet body 1 and the humidity sensitive wire 6 is above the set temperature, the first relay switch 8 is closed to energize the heater 5, and when the temperature is above the set temperature, the first relay switch 8 is opened to turn on the heater 5. lll 5
'i', thereby maintaining the carpet body 1 at approximately the set humidity. Reference numeral 10 denotes an outlet installed in the control box 2, which is connected between the dual-use wires of the power cord 3 via a second relay switch 11, which is a switching element. Reference numeral 12 denotes a power limiting circuit, which is equipped with, for example, a CR oscillation circuit and opens and closes the second relay switch 11 at a predetermined period. Restrict. In addition, 13 is a power switch for the carpeller 1 to the main body 1.

Next, the operation of the above structure will be explained in the case where it is used in conjunction with the electric kotatsu 14 as shown in FIG. The electric kotatsu 14 is placed on the carpeller 1 body 1''2, and the electric kotatsu 1/l power plug 15 is connected to the conduit 1O of the control box 2 and covered. Then, connect the plug 3a of the electric cord 3 of the carpeller 1 to the main unit to a hard wall, etc.
(not shown) and open the power switch 13,
When the automatic temperature control device 7 is activated and the first relay switch 8 is closed, the heater 5 of the main body 1 is energized to the carpeller, and the power limiting circuit 12 is activated and the electrical outlets 1-10 are activated.
Power is supplied to the electric kotatsu 1/I via the kotatsu. Since the power limiting circuit 12 opens the second glue switch 11 intermittently at a predetermined period, the power tn supplied to the electric kotatsu 14 is limited to a low level, thereby suppressing the amount of heat generated. on the other hand,
Carpeter 1 to main body 1 are gradually heated as a whole by energizing heater 5, but since the amount of heat generated by electric kotatsu 14 is kept low, unlike conventional kotatsu, carpet main body 1 is gradually heated.
Of these, only the lower part of the electric kotatsu 14 is the electric kotatsu 14.
The temperature difference between the lower part of the electric kotatsu 14 and the other parts is sufficiently smaller than that of the conventional electric kotatsu. When the temperature of the entire carpet body 1 rises substantially uniformly and is heated to the set humidity level, the automatic temperature control device 7 operates, the first relay switch 8 opens, and the heater 5 turns off. The entire carpet body 1 is maintained at a substantially uniform temperature by turning on and off the heater 5 in the same manner.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the temperature of the entire carpet body 1 rises substantially uniformly, and even areas other than the lower part of the electric kotatsu 14 are heated to near the setting 2Fn. This can sufficiently warm the buttocks of people who have their feet inside the electric kotatsu 14, and the electric kotatsu 1
The feet placed inside the carpet 4 can be sufficiently warmed by the heat from the carpet body 1 and the heat from the electric kotatsu 14, and can be comfortably warmed overall.

In the above embodiment, the opening/closing period of the second relay switch 11 is constant and the reduction rate of the amount of power supplied to the electric kotatsu 14 is constant, but the present invention is not limited to this. The opening/closing period may be made variable to change the reduction rate of the power supply, and for example, a temperature sensor may be provided at approximately medium heat of the carpet body 1, and the temperature sensor may be changed.
It may also be configured to limit the power supplied to the electric kotatsu 14 by cutting off the current supply path to the outlet 1O when the temperature of the heater becomes higher than a predetermined temperature. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above and shown in the drawings; for example, the outlet 10 is connected to the connector 4 instead of the control box 2.
The present invention can be implemented with various modifications without departing from the scope of the invention, such as applying it to a floor heating system in which the heater is directly buried in the floor of a house.

As described above, the present invention provides an electrical outlet for an electric kotatsu.
~ and a power limiting circuit that limits the power supplied only to the electric kotatsu connected to this outlet, so when used together with an electric kotatsu, the electric kotatsu's heat output is reduced and the electric kotatsu is automatically activated. It is possible to prevent the temperature control device from operating prematurely, thereby raising the temperature of the entire electric kotatsu substantially uniformly, and there is an effect that parts other than the lower part of the electric kotatsu can be sufficiently warmed.
