シリンダヘッド上面との間にバルブスプリングを嵌装し
たエンジンにおいて、前記バルブスプリングの内側のシ
リンダヘッド上面に、バルブステムの周囲を覆い、前記
バルブスプリングリテーナ側部分を先に行くほど狭くな
るよう形成した筒状のカバを設けるとともに、このカバ
のシリンダヘッド上面側の側部にオイルの排出孔を形成
したことを特徴とするバルブステムのオイル付着抑制装
