An inertial body is arranged to face a damper plate provided on the crankshaft side of the engine in a spaced-apart manner, and this inertial body is connected to the damper plate via an elastic body, so as to prevent vibrations on the crankshaft side. In the tamper device, a cooling air or cooling liquid passage is provided in at least one of the damper plate or the inertial body, and the cooling air or cooling liquid is supplied to this passage.
