搬入・搬出されるパレットと、コード読取り開始用の金
属製検出体および前記搬送物の種類に応じて適宜凸、凹
状態とされるオルターネイトタイプの複数のコード読取
り用の金属製検出体が所定位置に取付けられ且つ前記パ
レットに固定されたコード板と、前記パレットが搬入方
向に貫通した時にのみ動作する方向確認用のリミットス
イッチと、前記コード読取り開始用金属製検出体に対応
して配設されこれがその動作位置に達した時動作するコ
ード読取り位置確認用の近接スイッチと、前記複数のコ
ード読取り用金属製検出体の夫々に対応して各別に配設
されこれがその対応位置に達した時に動作するコード読
取り用の近接スイッチと、前記方向確認用リミットスイ
ッチの動作を条件に起動され、前記コード読取り位置確
認用近接スイッチの動作により前記複数のコード読取り
用近接スイッチの動作状態を検出してコードの読み取り
を行なって搬送物を識別するコード読み取り回路とを具
