対の把持部材を互いにその先端部を接触もしくは上糸の
糸径より小なる間隙を保持して配設してなる上糸把持部
と、先端部に鉤状の係止部を有する板状もしくは線状部
材で形成され、非作動時に上記上糸把持部の反縫針側に
保持し、作動時に上記上糸保持部の一方もしくは双方の
把持部材の先端部を押圧し該把持部材の弾性偏倚力に抗
して該把持部材の先端部に摺接しながら縫針の通過経路
に達し再び非作動位置まで後退復帰する上糸係止部材と
、この上糸係止部材の往復運動を行わしめる駆動源とを
