For example, as shown in Figure 1, when the internal pressure of an oil-filled electrical appliance 1 becomes abnormally high and the pressure relief device 2 is activated, the insulating oil inside the oil-filled electrical appliance 1 will spray out. In order to prevent the insulating oil from scattering around, the pressure relief device 2 is connected to a drain oil tank 4 via an oil drain pipe 3, and the insulating oil is stored in the drain oil tank 4.

In this case, the pressure relief device 2 may malfunction due to its structure and cannot be expected to be completely reliable, so even if the pressure relief device 2 were to operate, it may be due to an abnormality inside the oil-filled electrical appliance 1 or malfunction. You need to check first.

In the case of the above-mentioned structure, the only way to confirm whether or not the oil is injected is through the sight glass of the pressure relief device 2 or by removing the exhaust pipe 4a of the drain oil tank 4 and looking inside.

However, the removal of the pressure relief device 2 and the exhaust pipe 4a requires a surprising amount of time and effort because the pressure relief device 2 is located at a fairly high position and the removal work is troublesome.

Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned shortcomings, the present invention was devised based on a novel idea with the aim of providing a pressure release confirmation device for oil-filled electrical appliances that easily confirms the normal operation or malfunction of the pressure relief device 2. It is.

In order to achieve this objective, the present invention is such that a pressure relief device for an oil-filled electric appliance is connected to an oil drain tank via an oil drain pipe, and one end is connected to a pointer and the other end is cantilevered across the oil drain pipe. A shaft supported by the oil drain pipe is rotatably attached to a visible position in the middle of the oil drain pipe, and a spatula having a size that blocks half of the oil drain pipe is fixed to the shaft, and the spatula is configured to block the oil drain pipe. A thin spiral spring that rotatably supports the shaft is attached to the shaft, and when a predetermined force is applied to the spatula and the shaft rotates against the spiral spring, the spatula attaches to the pipe shaft of the oil drain pipe. Here, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4.
