    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 現像装置が画像形成装置本体外にある時、該現像装置の
    現像スリーブ表面を保護被覆するような保護カバーを備
    えた現像装置てあ−って、該保護カバーが現像スリーブ
    の回転軸を回転軸とし回転可能に支持されると共に、該
    保護カバーに異物を捕集するための異物捕集部を設けた
    ことを特徴とする現像装置。
