Conventional methods for waterproofing this type of ground have included injecting waterproof mortar and using elastic water-stopping materials, but these methods have weak bonding strength with the concrete structure, making it difficult to achieve complete water-stopping. I couldn't do it.

Figure 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a rubber molded body, which is a water-stopping material to be attached to joints.A highly elastic rubber tube (2) is covered with water-swellable rubber (3), and the resin foam is hollowed out during construction (1). The structure is such that injection holes (4) for injection are provided at appropriate intervals, and the injection holes can be tightly plugged after injection.

Next, as shown in Fig. 2, a rubber molded body having the structure shown in Fig. 1 is attached to the joint (6) of the pour joint or construction joint formed by the concrete structure (5) (5'). (a)) The resin foam is injected into the cavity (1) through the injection hole (4) and foamed to expand the rubber molded product and fixed to the joint (6) by pressure, and then the surface portion is covered with waterproof mortar or resin mortar. (Fig. 2(b)).

The joint waterproofing method according to the present invention is completed by flattening the surface part with waterproof mortar or resin mortar after the rubber molded body is completely fixed in the joint by expansion due to foaming. By injecting and foaming the resin foam, the foaming pressure expands the rubber molded body and completely presses and fixes it in the joint gap, thereby stopping water.

Next, the coated surface rubber is a water-swellable rubber that swells when it comes into contact with water for a certain period of time, and maintains its swollen state while in contact with water, filling minute voids within the joints. In combination with the above-mentioned effects, it achieves perfect water stoppage.

Furthermore, since the rubber molded body is made of highly elastic rubber, it is possible to completely follow the expansion/contraction, vibration, and other movements of the thin concrete structure.
