Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal compositon containing a compound of the formula (X is H or halogen; R<1> and R<2> are CH3 or C2H5) and S-ethyl-perhydroazepine-1- carbothioate at 1:0.5-5 weight ratio. The resultant composition has remarkably enhanced weeding spectrum and width of suitable application period by the very remarkable synergistic action of both components and is capable of suppressing the development of weeds almost completely throughout the growth period of paddy rice only by one treatment by mixing of such small amounts as not to control the weeds fully by the individual components without giving phytotoxicity to paddy rice.

水稲の全生育期間にわたってほぼ完全に雑草の発生を抑
制し、しかも水稲に対して薬害が熱いことなどの優れた
特徴を見出し、本発明を完成させるに至った。
