めると共に蓋3の中央部の上下部を点検口2の上下縁部
における基体1外面に当接せしめて成ることを特徴とす
るもので、かかる構成で蓋3の取付けを行なうようにし
て上記目的が遠戚されるようにしたものである。

口の両側の周縁部にて基体の表側に当接せしめると共に
蓋の中央部の上下部を点検口の上下縁部における基体外
面に当接せしめるようにしたので、相互に斜外方に向く
ねじ具を締め付けるに従って、点検口の周縁部表側に当
接した蓋の両側端の屈曲片を支点として蓋の中央部には
基体の内方へと引っ張るよう変形させる力が働くことに
なり、この力が蓋体の中央部を基体の外面に押え付ける
力として作用して、基体が突曲面形状で蓋がこれに沿う
突曲形状に曲成されたものであっても、蓋を点検口の周
縁にて基体の表側面に密着させることができ、隙間が外
部に露出したり防水性が低下したりするおそれがないも
のである。
