Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a chalk which can be written on the surfaces of various materials and whose handwriting can be readily erased by rubbing with paper or cloth, by combining an animal or vegetable wax with a nonionic surfactant, adding a pigment thereto and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A mineral wax (e.g. paraffin) and optionally PP resin are added to an animal or vegetable wax (e.g. rice bran wax). The mixture is molten by heating and mixed with a nonionic surfactant (e.g. polyoxyethylene spermoleylstearyl ether), and the resulting mixture is cooled to 55-60 deg.C. An org. pigment and precipitated CaCO3 are added to the mixture. The resulting mixture is melt- kneaded at 80-90 deg.C and cast into the desired shape.

PRIOR TECHNOLOGY A conventional writing instrument (yo) used for whiteboards is impregnated with volatile liquid ink, and when the cap is removed when using the ICC pear type, the volatile solution gets on the skin, making it easy to forget to tighten the cap. If it was loose, the liquid would evaporate and the ink would become sticky, making it hard to get old or making it impossible to write on it without you even realizing it.

EXAMPLE 1 To produce the chalk of the present invention, animal or vegetable waxes such as wax such as carnauba wax, castor oil wax, rice bran wax, stearic acid, beeswax,
Amide wax, wool grease, etc. are used, mineral waxes such as paraffin, secylene, montan wax, etc., and polypropylene resin are added one after another to the rice boiler as necessary, and these waxes are melted together. (Formulation Example 1) (Formulation Example 2) Effects of the Invention The chalk of the present invention is molded into a solid, so it is easy to use.
You can see at a glance how the liquid is being reduced, and since volatile liquid ink is not used, there is no need for caps or containers, and the drawbacks associated with volatile liquids, such as in the conventional box type, are eliminated, and the product can be supplied at a low price.

In addition, since a nonionic surfactant is bonded to an animal or vegetable wax, the animal or vegetable wax binds to the nonionic surfactant and is charged to one ion, so that when wiping, the fill electricity causes the paper or The cloth is charged with a potential of 10, making it easier for chalk particles to move to the paper or cloth being wiped off, making it easy to wipe off, and because it has an affinity for water, it can be wiped away with a damp cloth or water. It can be easily wiped off.
