Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent burner ports from being clogged with fluid by a structure wherein the lower surface of each burner port is made to slant radially and outwardly in the downward direction in order for liquid such as the water or the like adhered to the burner port to allow to flow outwards easily. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle member 12 arranged at the upper end 7 of a burner main body 1 consists of a substrate 13 and a cap 14 covering the substrate 13. The underside of the cap 14 provides with a first expanded part 21, which spreads radially and outwardly from the substrate 13 in the radial and outward direction of burner ports 19, a second expanded part 22, which spreads further radially and outwardly from the first expanded part 21, and a drooping part 23, which droops from the second expanded part 22. The top surface 34 of the cap 14 gently slopes radially and outwardly in the downward direction. The water, which is scattered and adhered to the burner ports 19 during cleaning, tends to flow radially and outwardly along the lower surface 20 of each burner port 19. Said water flows down along the outer peripheral surface of the skirt part 16. Thus, the burner ports 19 are prevented from being clogged with water.

Embodiment FIG. 1 is a sectional view of an embodiment of the present invention. Fuel gas is forced into the passage 2 of the burner main body 10 of the gas burner 30, which is formed in a roughly L-shape, from the nozzle 4 toward the throat portion 3. As a result, combustion air is sucked from the air intake port 5.

The entire opening area of the air intake port 5 can be adjusted by the throttle member 6. The upper end 7 of the burner body 1 projects upward from a through hole 9 formed in the top plate 8 of the sink. A short cylindrical portion 10 defining a through hole 9 is erected on the top plate 8 to prevent water from entering the through hole 9 during cleaning.

In order to clean the gas burner 30, water such as tap water is emitted from the nozzle 33. At this time, the water is filled with cap 140.
It flows down the top surface 34 and falls from the hanging piece 23. The lower end of this hanging piece 23 is located below the flame hole 19,
Therefore, it is possible to prevent water from entering the flame hole 19 during cleaning as much as possible.
