Claims

An annular main piston and an annular auxiliary piston with a smaller diameter are fitted onto the clutch shaft so as to be movable in the axial direction, and the outer periphery of the main piston is opposed to the annular friction member radially outward from the auxiliary piston, and a disc spring is installed between them. By interposing and locking the inner peripheral end of the disc spring to the sub-piston, when the clutch is connected, a load is applied from the sub-piston to the friction member through the entire disc spring, and then from the outer periphery of the main piston to the outer periphery of the disc spring.
