A once-through boiler type high-temperature regenerator that uses an external heat source as its heat source, one or more regenerators that use the latent heat of condensation of refrigerant vapor generated in the high-temperature regenerator as its main heat source, and a condenser, absorber, evaporator, etc. In a multi-effect absorption refrigerating machine, the outer wall of the high-temperature regenerator is surrounded by a heat insulating material, and piping is provided to transport the dilute solution from the absorber to one or more of the high-temperature regenerator and the regenerator.
