Conventionally, when monitoring loop transmission in an autonomous decentralized double-loop transmission system, the state of the transmission path has been detected by determining phenomena such as an inability to control the terminal or no data being transmitted from the terminal. With this method, when an abnormality occurs, it is difficult to determine whether the terminal is out of order or the transmission line itself is out of order, and there is a problem in that it takes an excessive amount of time and effort to recover the system.

The main point of the present invention is to analyze the data sent from the transmission device, send the data to the transmission control device at regular intervals, receive the data from all the control processing devices that are outputting data on the loop transmission path, and prevent timeouts. The purpose is to detect the status and display the loop transmission status on the display in an easy-to-understand manner.

The station monitoring program 16, which operates at a constant cycle, subtracts and sets the timeout times of all stations in the timeout table 17 by the cycle. When the result of subtraction is less than or equal to zero, it is considered that the control processing device has failed. Furthermore, if a positive timeout time is set in the timeout table 17 during the failure, it is considered that the system has recovered.

The data is transmitted through a counterclockwise transmission path and is captured by the loop transmission monitoring device 9. FIG. 7 shows the relationship of data for detecting transmission line disconnection in the loop transmission monitoring device 9. The station data input program 15 writes input data to the transmission line management table 19 in which areas are specified for each transmission control device, and starts the transmission line monitoring program 18. The transmission path monitoring program 18 refers to the transmission path management table 19 and changes the display edit table 20 according to the status.
6 Figures 8 and 9 show display examples when the transmission path is normal and when it is abnormal.

1ii) Regarding the transmission control device In FIG. 3, consider the case where the transmission control devices 12a and 12b fail. As in the example (i), the loop transmission monitoring bag W9 detects that it no longer receives data from the control processing device 12c'. Furthermore, similarly to (11), transmission line disconnection data is transmitted from the transmission control devices 10a and 12e, and the transmission line disconnection is detected. As a result of the above, a combination of the displays (i) and (11) is displayed on the display. FIGS. 10 and 11 show display examples when the transmission control device is normal and when it is abnormal.
