Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation and removal of the top cowling of an outboard engine, by positioning the open and close split surfaces of the cowling at a level in the vicinity of the top of a cylinder so that an ignition plug and a carburettor confront the cowling in the vicinity of the open and close split surfaces of the cowling.
