Side plates are attached to both sides of a cam ring that houses a rotor in which a plurality of vanes are attached so as to be freely protrusive and retractable in a substantially radial direction, and a working chamber whose volume increases and decreases between adjacent vanes of the plurality of vanes is formed. A vane pump for discharging suctioned hydraulic oil through a vane pump, characterized in that an oil storage chamber for storing a portion of pump discharged oil is provided at a position facing a cam ring with the side plate interposed therebetween.
