Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an article to be transferred to a storing shelf without a power equipment, by providing the apparatus as given in the caption of a storing equipment for container-type large cargoes with a device for transferring articles to storing shelves such that the device can be driven by the driving device of a transferring shelf equipped with a driving device for running and transferring operations. CONSTITUTION:A container handling arms 5 arranged closely to the upper part of a ball mat 4 are moved by means of a power equipment 6 and a control device 7 to approach or go away from each other and to advance or retreat. According to this construction, a container not shown is, when it is to be stored for example, held between the handling arms 5 at its bottom part on the ball mat 4, and the arms in this state are moved forward to a storing shelf 2 to transfer the container to the storing shelf 2. The arms 5 are subsequently opened and retracted. Reversed operation is carried out for taking out a container from storage. With this constitution, containers can be put in or taken out from a storing shelf which has no power equipment.

機構を設け、これによって保管棚側に動力源をもたせる
ことなく、移載作業を可能にしたものである。
