Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

Two endless belt-shaped filter cloths, one above the other and one above the other, each of which is passed around a plurality of guide rolls, are driven in the same direction while covering each other over a certain traveling section. A sludge supply device for supplying sludge between the two upper and lower filter cloths is disposed at a position where the sludge is fed between the two filter cloths during the above-mentioned certain traveling section. A compressed dehydration section is formed in which the filter cloth is compressed from the inner circumferential side of each of the two filter cloths.
The belt press includes, at the rear of the clamping dewatering section, a guide roll that contacts the upper surface of the lower filter cloth that is separated into upper and lower parts, and a pressure roll that contacts the lower surface of the lower filter cloth. A pressurized dewatering device is installed in combination with a pressurizing belt, and between this pressurizing dewatering device and the end of the pinching dewatering section, the slurry on the lower filter cloth is removed. A belt press characterized in that a slurry agitating device with active agitating blades is arranged.
