要上、この固定カバーの端縁と切換ガイドの上縁とを密
接させることは製作上、加工組立上からも非常に難かし
く、排ワラを細断経路に案内する作用姿勢にあるときに
は両端縁間にはどうしても隙間が生じてしまい、そのた
めここに徘ワラが詰ったり、引掛ったりして細断装置へ
の排ワラの円滑な供給が行えず、作業途中においてしば
しばこの詰ったり引掛った排ワラの除去を行なわねばな
らない上に、詰り排ワラを排除するための開口が狭いた
めに排ワラの除去に手間どり、能率の良い排ワラ処理を
行えない欠点があった。

この別のガイドも開放して大きな開放口が形或できるよ
うにすると共に、排ワラを細断経路に案内する時にはこ
の別のガイドが切換ガイドの揺動軌跡内に進入して、且
つ切換ガイドの遊端外側に接当するようにして両ガイド
の端縁間に隙間が生じないように構或したことを特徴と
する。
