Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain recording capable of selecting automatically a broadcast program by inserting at least two kinds of frequencies in a frequency difference possible for discrimination by an audible frequency to a non-sound broadcast band to drive and control a pause mechanism of recording side. CONSTITUTION:Various control signals are transmitted in the non-sound broadcast band at the broadcast side. The broadcast radio wave is received on a receiver 6 via a receiving antenna 5 and broadcast from a speaker 8 via an amplifier 7. The control signals are transmitted to a signal discriminating circuit 10 via a preamplifier 9 and supplied to a control circuit 12 by a selecting means and a switching means 11 so as to be suitable for the control mode by discrimination and selection. The circuit 12 drives the pause mechanism drive means 14 of a recorder by an input signal for operating on/off and records the content of the broadcast program automatically with selection.

The system of the present invention will be explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a contrast diagram showing the program structure on the broadcasting side and the operation of the pause mechanism on the recording side, and A shows changes over time in the program content on the broadcasting side. , B show changes over time in the music recording operation on the recording device side, and C shows changes over time in the recording operation on the same recording device side excluding only commercial broadcasts.

The broadcasting side transmits various control signals a, b, c%d during the silent broadcast band S, and these control signals cause the pause mechanism on the recording side to operate so as to stop the recording operation of the recording device ( (hereinafter referred to as an "on operation"), or an operation to restart the recording operation of the recording apparatus (hereinafter referred to as an "off operation").

In all of the above examples, commercial broadcasts are set as unnecessary broadcast bands, but depending on the case, the above pause mechanism may be configured to select and record only commercial broadcast bands. For example, it is possible to eliminate the inconvenience of having to watch the entire broadcast band for commercial monitoring.

First, if the control signal coincides with a partial frequency signal in the audio signal or video signal being broadcast, the pause mechanism will malfunction, so the control signal must be created in a special manner within the broadcast frequency band.

Second, since the control signal is generated within the broadcast frequency band, there is a risk that it will be recorded as a recording signal such as an audio signal or a video signal.

For this reason, it is necessary to distinguish the control signal from the recording signal and set it so that it relates only to the pause mechanism.

Next, in the present invention, in order to solve the second problem, when the control signal is generated at a frequency in the audible frequency band, the control signal is made into a low-level signal that is inaudible or difficult to hear.

For example, the above signal is made into a composite signal of a pulse signal made at a frequency of 40011z and a pulse signal of, for example, 50 GHz, which has a frequency difference of 10% or more from this pulse signal, and this is converted to an average modulation level, that is, an average audio level. On the other hand, if it is transmitted as a low-level signal of -40 db, firstly, it is transmitted during the silent broadcast band S, so malfunctions caused by audio signals can be prevented, and since it is a combination of multiple signals, the accuracy of the signal can be improved. This solves the first problem by increasing the signal level, and at the same time, it is a low-level signal that reaches the audible frequency range, so it cannot be heard by ordinary listeners.
Therefore, the second problem can be solved by this.

In order to make the above-mentioned low-level signal even more inaudible or inaudible, it is only necessary to limit the signal between stations in the inaudible frequency band.

The program composed by the program composing section 3 is modulated and broadcasted from the transmitting section 4 in the same manner as in the past, and the broadcast radio waves are received by, for example, an FM receiver 6 via an antenna 5 on the receiving side.

The broadcast radio waves received in this way are broadcast from the speaker 8 via the integrated amplifier 7 as before, but the control signals a, b% c, d are sent to the signal identification circuit 10 via the preamplifier 9. The signals are identified by this circuit, and are selected by a selection means, for example, the switch means 11, to be suitable for the B mode or the C mode, and are supplied to the control circuit 12.

Since the control signals a to d are multiple waves, this signal identification circuit 10 is actually constructed using a plurality of filters for each signal, and the signals identified here are further used through a logic circuit. It is designed like this.

In order to ensure the signal discrimination operation described above, a level discrimination circuit 13 is inserted between the preamplifier 9 and the signal discrimination circuit 10, and this circuit prevents signals above a certain level from passing through. By doing this, since the control signal is a low level signal, the input signal to the control circuit 12 can be limited to only the control signal.

In the above, other methods may be used as the control signal identification method. For example, in the case of stereo broadcasting, if the control signal is incorporated only in either the R side or the L side, this Since it is easy to separate the control signals on the receiving side, malfunctions of the pause mechanism can be reliably prevented.

In this way, the present invention method inserts at least two types of frequencies that belong to the audio frequency range and have a mutually distinguishable frequency difference into the silent broadcast band 8 that exists in the program structure as low-level signals. However, since these two types of low-level signals drive and control the pause mechanism on the recording device side, it is possible to automatically select and record the content of the broadcast program on the recording side, and also to use the control signal. There is an advantage in that it can be reliably identified during a silent broadcast band, and there is also an advantage in that this control signal hardly interferes with the audio signal.

更に又本発明方式は、現在使用中の放送システムFurthermore, the method of the present invention can be applied to broadcasting systems currently in use.
