A coil tip detection device capable of detecting a coil tip that is rotatably supported around its own axis includes a suction means arranged around the coil and capable of separating the coil tip from the coil body, and a coil outer peripheral surface. A coil tip detection device comprising: a gap sensor disposed opposite to the coil and capable of measuring a gap between the coil and the outer circumferential surface of the coil.
