Claims

(1) The liquid fuel in the fuel tank is supplied to an overflow level regulator using a fuel pump, and the pressure is applied to the oil level in the level regulator by a pressure device, so that the liquid is transferred through the fuel supply pipe. In a liquid fuel combustion device configured to supply fuel to a combustion section, the fuel pump is configured to generate a fuel flow in a direction opposite to the fuel flow direction when fuel is supplied when the fuel pump is stopped, so as to extinguish the combustion section. When the fuel pump is stopped, the liquid fuel in the oil level gauge flows down inside the fuel pump and returned to the fuel tank, while the fuel pump is retracted with the oil level gauge in place.
