Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

It consists of an upper cylinder equipped with a magnetic head and a rotor, and a fixed lower cylinder. A tape-shaped magnetic recording medium is wound around a part of the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder, and the magnetic recording medium is diagonally directed around the tape-shaped magnetic recording medium. A cylinder device configured to form a signal track by a head, the upper cylinder having a tapered portion extending all around the lower end thereof, and the upper end of the tapered portion being connected to the outer circumferential surface of the ridge where the upper cylinder outer circumferential surface intersects with the outer circumferential surface of the upper cylinder. A cylinder device for a magnetic recording/reproducing device in which a large number of recesses with a depth of 10 μm or less are provided.
