Abstract

PURPOSE:To assemble a tape cassette at high accuracy by simple constitution by connecting two half cases by press fitting plural straight pins and straight holes. CONSTITUTION:A tapered large diameter part 10a for reinforcing and positioning having a diameter which becomes larger toward the boss 8 is formed at the base of each straight pin 10, and a tapered part 10b is formed at the tip. A tapered opening 11a to which the tapered large diameter part 10a of the pin 10 fits is formed at the open end of the boss 9. The length of fitting is set to more than 1.5 times as long as the diameter of the pin 10. The pin 10 of an upper half case 6 is squared to the straight hole 11 of a lower case 7, and the pin 10 is pressed and fitted.
