Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a water-base ink for ball-point pens free from a creak in writing, by dissolving dyes, fluorine-base surfactants or water-soluble silicone oils, and alkali metal salts of aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid in solvents. CONSTITUTION:Dyes, fluorine-base surfactants or water-soluble silicone oils, and alkali metal salts of aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid, together with dye- dissolving assistants, rust preventives, or preservatives added as required, are dissolved in solvents comprising water and polyols, removing a creak between balls and tips. Typical formulation is as follows: 100pts.wt. solvent (65-80pts.wt. water and 35-20pts.wt. polyols), 3-6pts.wt. dye dissolving assistant, 1-2pts.wt. sum o rust preventive and preservative, 0.1-1pts.wt. fluorine-base surfactant or 0.5-5pts.wt. water-soluble silicone oil, and 0.5-10pts.wt. alkali metal salts of aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid.

を起し易い欠点がある。そこで、このような欠点を除く
ためにインキの表面張力を低下させる種々の試みが行わ
れているが、いずれも表面張力が低下したとしても所期
の目的を充分達成できなかったシ筆跡が不鮮明となる欠
点がある。

くしたものであって、先ず、溶剤としては水の外に蒸発
性、染料溶解性、にじみ防止性を考慮してエチレングリ
コール、プロピレングリコーlv1ダイナマイトグリセ
リン或いはトリエタノーμアミン等の多価アルコールを
併用する。また、これに染料等とともに溶解されるフッ
素系界面活性剤としては非イオン系のフッ素系界面活性
剤であるフロラードFC/70(3(商品名−住友スリ
ーエム社製)を、水溶性シリコーンオイルとしては東芝
シリコーンオイ)vYF3ざ112部商品名−東芝シリ
コーン社製)のようなシキの表面張力を低下させる。他
方、潤滑性を付与するためのアミノトリメチレンホスホ
ン酸のアルカリ金属塩としてはアミノトリメチレンホス
ホン酸!ナトリウムやアミノトリメチレンホスホン酸j
カリウム等が用いられ、例えば市販のケンロツクス#1
06 (商品名−帝国化学産業社製)等でよい。さらに
、染料としては一般にインキ用染料として用いられる酸
性染料や直接染料で充分である。また、アミノトリメチ
レンホスホン酸のアルカリ金属塩をフッ素系界面活性剤
または水溶性ンリコーンオイルとともに使用する理由は
インキの性能を損うことなく潤滑性を高めるためで、他
の燐化合物を加えて潤滑性を付与してもインキの性能に
悪影響を及ばずので所期のインキは得られないし、アミ
ノトリメチレンホスホン酸のアルカリ金属塩を配合せず
にフッ素系界面活性剤または水溶性シリコーンオイルの
いずれかを単独配合した場合においては表面張力を低下
させる効果があっても札み音が発生するうえ筆記に方向
性を生じ、また、筆記掠れや筆記途中におけるインキ切
れも生じて不適であり、フッ素系界面活性剤または水溶
性シリコーンオイルを配合せずアミノトリメチレンホス
ホン酸のアルカリ金属塩を単独で昂1合した場合におい
ても同様に筆記に方向を生じ、また、筆記途中でのイン
キ切れを生ずることが実験上明らかとなった。次に、フ
ッ素系界面活性剤や水溶性シリコーンオイμおよびアミ
ノトリメチレンホスホン碇吟ルカリ金属塩の配合量は特
に限定されるものではないが、代表的な配合として重量
部で溶剤700部(水乙5〜ざ0部、多価アルコ−1v

剤、防黴剤を含量で/、−2部、フッ素系界面活性剤0
