を備える。A roller fixing device passes an image support material between a pair of pressure rollers and fixes unfixed toner on the image support material using heat and pressure. This results in an offset phenomenon in which some parts are attached to the surface. In order to reduce the offset phenomenon, the fixing roller is provided with a means for applying a release agent (for example, silicone oil), and a fixing roller cleaning means is provided to remove offset toner.

The reference numeral / designates a fixing device, and a fixing roller and a pressure roller 3 are pivotally attached to frames // on both sides of the fixing device so as to rotate in pressure contact with each other. 1 is an entrance guide for the image support material, and S is a separation claw. Reference numeral 6 denotes a cleaning member in which felt 7 is wrapped around a hexagonal shaft. The felt 7 was impregnated with 10,000 ape of silicone oil (3) as a mold release agent at a ratio of 1, □ wt% to the weight of the felt. The shaft g is fitted into the notch l in the frame // on both sides, and the winding spring /S is fitted into the shaft /3 so as to be held down by a lever /s pivoted to the frame /l by the shaft 13. Both ends of the spring /S are locked to the frame // and the lever /F, respectively.

If the number of copies has increased and the felt surface becomes dirty, turn the rotary knob 9 to compress the corner of the felt grip and raise the shaft g to move the lever /4' against the spring /51'. 13 in the counterclockwise direction, and when it passes over the corner of the felt 7, the flat part of the felt 7 comes into contact with the surface of the fixing roller, and the lever/da is released by the spring l! II) The felt 7 can be renewed to a new surface by rotating clockwise with the force of 2) and pressing it against all 5i4t rollers through the shaft g.

We were able to increase the number of copies to 30,000 to 60,000. Additionally, the felt surface can be updated simply by turning the rotary knob, making it easy for operators to operate.

Therefore, it goes without saying that the rotary knob 9 does not have to be hexagonal and the polygon may be circular. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, each surface of the felt may be curved to match the curved surface of the fixing roller instead of being flat to securely widen the contact width with the fixing roller.

Furthermore, it is easy to update and replace the felt surface, and users can easily operate it.
This is particularly effective for service-free machines, such as so-called personal copiers, which individuals have at hand.
