コンバータ、オーバドライブ装置、およびアンダ下ライ
ブ装置は、それぞれトルクコンバータハウジング、オー
バドライブ装置用ケース、およびアンダドライブ装置用
ケース内に収容されてそれぞれ単位体として構成され、
オーバドライブ装置が流体式トルクコンバータとアンダ
ドライブ装置との間に配置されるように流体式トルクコ
ンバータ、オーバドライブ装置、およびアンダドライブ
装置は互いに同軸線的に配置され、流体式トルクコンバ
ータへ結合されるオーバドライブ装置の入力軸とオーバ
ドライブ装置へ結合されるアンダ下ライブ装置の入力軸
とはともに流体式トルクコンバータの中・凸軸線に沿っ
て配設され、オーバドライブ装置用ケースはその一端の
外周面がアンノドライブ装置用ケースの内周面に嵌合さ
れてオーバドライブ装置用ケースに貫通せしめて形成し
た貫通孔内に挿置したボルトにより固定され、両ケース
の嵌合面はオイルシールが介設されて油密に形成されて
いることを特徴とするオーバドライブ装置付自動変速機
