  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 透光性アルミナセラミック管の両端部を閉塞体で閉封し
    、これら閉塞体を気密に貫通してリード線を設け、各リ
    ード線の内端部に電極を接続してなる発光管を有する。 金属蒸気放電灯において、少なくとも一方の管端部側の
    リード線は管内に位置する部位を円錐コイル形に成形し
    、この円錐コイル部の最小内径は上記電極の外径寸法以
    下であり、隣接するコイル巻部間においては大径コイル
    巻部の内径が小径コイル巻部の外径寸法以下に形成され
    ていることを特徴とする金属蒸気放電灯。
