Claims (1)
ルを取付けたアッパシャフトと、このアッパシャフトを
軸方向に移動可能に嵌合するロアー シャフトとから
構成され、ステアリングホイールが所定量だけ軸方向に
調整可能とされたテレスコピックステアリング装置にお
いて、前記アッパシャフト、またはアッパシャフトと軸
方向移動に対して一体とされる部材と、前記ロアシャフ
ト等の軸方向移動に対して固定された部材との両部材の
対向する面側のいずれか一側に緩衝材を設け、他側に前
記ステアリングホイールが軸方向縮小移動したときにこ
の緩衝材が嵌合する嵌合凹部を設けて、前記ステアリン
グホイールの軸方向縮小移動時にこの緩衝材と嵌合凹部
とが当接してその軸方向移動が規制されるとき、緩衝材
の半径方向の広がりを防止して緩衝作用を有効に行わせ
るようにしたことを特徴とするテレスコピックステアリ
