Claims (1)
実質的に直角の方向に燃焼室へ開口した出口部とを含み
、燃焼室への開口端に対向するポート内壁部には前記開
口端へ向けて膨出した膨出部が設けられ、該膨出部は吸
気弁の軸線周りに延在してその周囲に旋回通路を構成し
ており、前記膨出部の周壁のうち前記入口部に対向する
部分は該部分に衝突した吸気流に前記旋回通路へ向う速
度成分と前記開口端へ直接向かう速度成分を与えるべく
前記膨出部の根元部より先端部へ向けて吸気弁の軸線に
近付く方向に傾斜しており、前記入口部には該入口部に
対向する前記膨出部へ向かう吸気の流量を制御する吸気
流制御弁が設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関の
