Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce sailing resistance, make uniform a stabilizing force and enhance stability at stoppage, by a method wherein a mast for fitting a sail is tiltably supported on a boat's hull having a circular cross-sectional shape, and arms provided with floats are totatably fitted to the hull. CONSTITUTION:The mast 3 for supporting the sail 2 is tiltably fitted to the boat's hull 1 having the circular cross-sectional shape. The arms 7 provided with the floats 8 at thier tips are fitted to side parts of the hull 1 so that the arms 7 can be spring upward. A center board 6 is fitted to a central part of the hull 1 so that it can be operated through a cable 63. The rider stands on an anti-slip part 13 provided at the central part of the hull 1, grips an operating part 4 of the sail 2, and sails. Accordingly, since the submerged surface area is reduced as compared with that of a conventional sail-board, sailing resistance can be reduced, a stabilizing force can be made to be uniform, and operation is facilitated. In addition, stability at stoppage is enhanced by the floats 8.

Traditionally, sailing was done by using a small boat body such as a sailing board, a square 1 to 1 swell to hold the sail, and holding the mast and changing the inclination of the mast to sail without a special steering device. The ship is known. The hull of this sailing boat is made of a flat plate, which has a large surface area that can be flooded with water, resulting in high running resistance. The disadvantage is that the restoration (restored when tilted) is not uniform.

This invention was made in order to eliminate such conventional drawbacks, and the hull is formed so that its cross-sectional shape is approximately circular, thereby reducing the surface area of wood penetration.
To provide a sailing boat that has low running resistance, uniform restoring force when tilting, and is easy to operate.

The hull 1 may be constructed of a rubber bag, or may be constructed of a plastic foam, 8111 reinforced plastic, or even a plastic foam coated with fiber-reinforced plastic. In the case of a rubber bag, it is preferable to divide the airtight chamber into about three parts to ensure safety against damage. Arms (subonson holders) 7 extending to both sides of the hull 1 are attached, and floating bodies (subonson holders) 8 are attached to the tips of the arms, respectively. A non-slip button 13 is formed on the upper surface of the center of the hull 1 for a rider to put his or her feet on. In addition, a cord 15 is attached to the tip of the hull 1, and when the bow is folded after deflating the bow, the end of the cord 15 can be locked at an appropriate position.
It is designed to maintain the folded state, and is usually fixed to the hull 1 so as not to interfere with traveling.

A pin 75 provided on the arm 7 is fitted into a spiral hole 73 formed in the pedal 71, and the peg lure 1 and the ratchet pawl 19 are connected by a connecting member 72.

In the above configuration, in a stationary state, the floating body 8 is stretched out to both sides and floats on the water surface to maintain a stable state. The rider stands on the anti-slip part 13, grips the 21st grip 4, and runs the sail 2 at an appropriate inclination L to catch the wind. When the floating body 8 starts to travel, the floating body 8 is raised by stepping on the pedal 71. In other words, when the pedal 71 is depressed, the bottle 75 moves in the hole 73, and as a result, the ratchet pawl 19 is pulled through the connecting member 72, and the ratchet pawl 19 is disengaged from the recess 76.
11! It rotates upward until Lt and raises the floating body 8. This allows the hull 1 to tilt freely, and the tilt of the hull 1 is determined by the posture of the rider, the orientation of the sail 2, and the like.

Further, the restoring force can be adjusted by operating the moving plate 61 using the push-pull cable 63. and,
When running, the water immersion surface area is small because the cross-sectional shape of the hull 1 is round, and therefore the running resistance is small. In addition, since the shape of the flooded area does not change depending on the inclination of the hull, the restoring force is always uniform and therefore easy to operate. Also, when stopping the boat, the arm 7 can be rotated by the pedal 71. It is sufficient to allow the floating body 8 to move freely and float it on the water surface in a stable state.

When not in use, the bolts 10 are removed, the sail 2 is removed from the boat body 1, and the boat body 1 can be folded into a smaller size by letting out the air. In addition, by removing the pin 78 with the hull 1 as it is and rotating the holder 70 around the shaft 77 as shown in FIG. It may also be carried on a vehicle. At this time, by inserting the protrusion 79 into the Ijttj 83 by 11x, the floating body 8 is made parallel to the hull 1. In the above embodiment, only the case where the boat body has a circular cross-sectional shape has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and it is also possible to use a general boat body.

As described above, this invention makes the cross-sectional shape of the boat substantially circular, thereby reducing the flooded surface area, reducing running resistance, and making the restoring force uniform, making operation easier. It is. Furthermore, by providing a floating body that can be lifted up, stability in a stationary state can be improved, and by providing rotor blades, the restoring force can be adjusted.
