By the way, in the conventional tape league, When the tape is running normally, the bin plunger is pushed by the tape and the contact operated by the bin plunger is turned on. When the tape breaks, the bin plunger is released and the contact is turned off. A C2 system has been proposed that uses a mechanical switch such as a switch to detect tape breakage, but at present no measures have been taken to detect tape jams. There is a need for a tape league that can also detect tape blockages.

Tape with sprocket holes and information holes, 2 is a capstan roller, 3 is a feed roller, 4 is a feed magnet, 5 is a brake magnet, 6 is a brake armature, 7 is a light emitting element, 8 is a sprocket hole and each information a light-receiving element group consisting of a plurality of light-receiving elements provided corresponding to the holes;
9 and 10 are transistors, 11 is an output device, 12 is an input device, and 16 is a microprocessor, etc. A processing device 16 includes transistors 9 and 10 when reading a tape.
Signals α and b, which contradict each other and become “1” and “0”, are applied to the base of the signal via the output device 11.

Since the tape 1 is sandwiched between the brake magnet 5 and the brake armature 6, feeding of the tape 1 is stopped. The processing device 13 also performs a process of reading, via the input device 12, a signal from each light receiving element of the light receiving element group 8, which becomes "1" or '0' depending on the presence or absence of a sprocket hole or an information hole. .

7, the count value of the internal counter is set to "0" and the count of one clock signal is started. After counting starts, if the signals α and b are not in the state of “0” and “1”, respectively, counting continues, and even if the count value of the counter reaches a predetermined value, the rise of the next sprocket signal cannot be detected. In other words, if the next rising edge of the sprocket signal cannot be detected even after a certain period of time (7'llJ, 2 seconds) has passed since the rising edge of the sprocket signal was detected, the tape has broken or the tape is running in the wrong direction. It determines that there is a blockage and outputs an alarm signal. This alarm signal lights up a warning light, sounds a warning buzzer, etc. Also, after the start of counting, when the signals α and b become “0” and “1”, respectively, the process returns to detecting the rising edge of the sprocket signal.If the sprocket signal α and the signal α are “1”, as shown in FIG. As shown in ζ2, C = "1" every certain period of time (usually about 2 mB136), so even if a certain period of time T has elapsed since the rising of the sprocket signal was detected, the rising of the next sprocket signal cannot be detected. If it cannot be detected, it is determined that the tape is cut or the tape is clogged, and an alarm signal is output to notify the operator of the abnormality.

Start counting the clock signal.

It goes without saying that a counter having a similar function may be provided in the counter, and an abnormality may be detected based on the count value of the counter.Furthermore, a timer mechanism may be provided to perform the same operation as described above. is also possible.

Since it is equipped with a processing device that detects abnormalities in the tape, it has the advantage that it can detect not only tape breaks but also tape jams, which could not be detected conventionally.
