Conventional Structure and Problems Conventionally, in this type of steam iron, as shown in FIG. Water is conveyed through a water supply pipe 3 that connects the two. This water supply pipe 3 is separate from the electric wire 4 that applies current to the iron body 1. Therefore, when ironing is done, when the iron main body 1 is moved back and forth and from side to side, the water supply pipe 3 and the electric wire 4 operate separately, so there is only one drop from both, and one drop from the clothes being ironed. This poses a problem in that it interferes with the entire work and even stains clothing.

Structure of the Invention The steam iron of the present invention is provided separately from the water tank and the iron body, and has a water supply pipe that conveys water from the water tank to the iron body, and an electric wire that applies electricity to the iron base, making it fully spiral and expandable and retractable. This allows the iron to move freely, eliminating unnecessary lengths of electric wires and water pipes to accommodate the movement of the iron itself! ! The purpose is to provide a steam iron that allows ironing to be carried out smoothly without any effort and is easy to use.

The water stored in the water tank 11 is formed into a bellows shape.
The air is sent to the vaporization chamber 8 of the iron body 6 through the water supply pipe 1o by the air pressure created by the restoring force of the pressure spring 13 pressed against the air tank 12. Reference numeral 14 denotes an electric wire that supplies electricity to the heater 6 and heats the iron base 7.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment in which the winding diameter of the electric wire 14 is made thicker, the winding diameter of the water supply pipe 1o is made smaller, and the water supply pipe 1o is placed inside the electric wire 14.

In the RT steam iron constructed in this way, the electric wire 14 and the water supply pipe 10 are integrated at the same time in accordance with the movement of the iron body 5, compared to those in which the electric wire 14 and the water supply pipe 10 are separate.
Since the iron body 6 can be expanded and contracted, it can be moved easily according to the movement of the iron body 6, and the strain of the electric wire 14 and the water supply pipe 10 is also reduced, which improves the workability of the iron and prevents the clothes from being touched. There is less contact, and it is important to prevent contamination. Furthermore, since it is integrated, it becomes compact when stored, providing a steam iron that is easy to use and has good storage properties. or,
The reason why the winding diameter of the water supply pipe 1o is made smaller than the winding diameter of the electric wire 14 is that the outer sheath of the electric wire 14 is made of a heat-resistant material, and the water supply pipe 10 wound inside it is made smaller than the winding diameter of the water supply pipe 1o. Since heat control and protection can be supplemented by the electric wire 14, it has the advantage that it can be layered with inexpensive materials.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above embodiments, the steam iron of the present invention has a spiral configuration of the power source and water supply pipe, so that it can expand and contract according to the ironing operation, thereby eliminating the hassle of handling the cord. Figure nf? -It is something. Furthermore, by making the total winding diameter of the water supply pipe smaller than the winding diameter of the electric wire as in the embodiment, the water supply pipe can be provided inside the electric wire.

In this case, since electric wires can be placed to serve as heat-resistant protection for the water supply pipe, it is also possible to construct the water supply pipe from inexpensive materials.
