A double-sided printing type in which printing is performed between the upper blanket cylinder and a lower blanket cylinder whose peripheral surface is in contact with the upper blanket cylinder on both sides of the paper transferred from the gripping claw of the transfer cylinder to the grip of the upper blanket cylinder. In a sheet-fed rotary printing press, the transfer cylinder and the upper blanket cylinder are slightly separated, the circumferential speed of the transfer cylinder is set higher than the circumferential speed of the upper blanket cylinder, and the drooping of the paper fed from the transfer cylinder is controlled. A paper guide with the same length as the cylinder length is provided with the tip end facing near the contact point of the upper and lower rubber cylinders, and the paper guide slides into sliding contact with the upper surface of the paper guide in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the moving paper.
