PURPOSE:To assemble a stiffener and a web with high accuracy and efficiency of assembling in the stage of welding the stiffener to the web, by supporting the stiffener perpendicularly on the web by means of a correcting roll, driving roll and a hydraulic cylinder, and welding both members. CONSTITUTION:The end part of a stiffener 2 is tack-welded to a web 1 in the stage of assembling the stiffener 2 on the web 1 by welding.
