Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide separated transport of thin band material from one another without causing any damage, by arranging a plurality of separation guide members in such a way as across the transport direction of band material and by allowing the air to jet out from the surface of each guide member. CONSTITUTION:A wide band material to be transported along the longitudinal direction M, for example, a film F, is cut along the longitudinal direction M into widths by a slitter 7, which is composed of a certain number of upper edges 7A and lower edges 7B mounted on the transport line apart from one another seen in the width direction, and strips F1-F4 thus cut are transported along the longitudinal direction. Here separation guide members 11-14 each being cylindrically formed are arranged in such a way as intersecting each strip F1-F4 aslant to the transport direction N, where the intersections are made in a plane identical to the one formed by the strips F1-F4. One end of each guide member 11-14 is closed while the other end is connected to a compressed air source 10 through a communication pipe 9, and the body of each guide member is provided with a number of air jets 8.

・In this case, a wide band-shaped film material is conveyed in the length direction and cut in the longitudinal direction to form a plurality of narrow band-shaped film strips of an appropriate width (hereinafter simply referred to as "strips"). Then, each of the plurality of strips is conveyed to the next processing area, where each strip is cut, for example, along the width direction, to form a sheet film of an appropriate length, and the sheet film is A processing and packaging process is carried out in which the four corners are rounded and the paper is wrapped using sandwich paper that is folded in half. Since such processing and packaging processing must be performed individually for each strip, when a plurality of strips are transported to the next processing area, it is necessary to transport each strip separately from each other.

As shown in FIG. 1, for example, a conventional method for separating and conveying a strip of material is to use a slitter t provided on the conveyance path to separate the film material F that is conveyed in a slender manner in the length direction M (indicated by the arrow). A plurality of strips Fx, F2 . P3. F4v
Two expander rolls are placed in front of the transport roll l which transports the film material F in the same state as before cutting, and each strip F 1 , F 2 , F 3

However, in the former method 2, due to the frictional contact of the extractor roll 2, the strips F1°F2,
In order to forcibly apply an outward spreading force to the surfaces of each of F3 and F4 to separate them from each other in the width direction, the strips Fl, F2. F3. A large internal stress is generated in each of F4, causing the strip to break or plastically deform, or the conveyor roll 1 and the expander roll 2
Because sliding occurs between the two, damage such as scratches and scratches caused by static electricity is likely to occur.

and strips Fl, F'2. F3. In order to reduce the internal cracking that occurs in F4, the distance L between the conveying roll l and the expander roll 2 is increased and the strips Fl, F2 . F3. Widthwise spread of F4 9
It would be possible to reduce the angle, but in this case the space occupied would be very large, and it would not essentially eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages (... Moreover, if the number of strips varies, especially if the number is odd) If the number is even or even, it is the same as above (the distance between the rolls 1' and Y expander 2 must be increased. On the other hand, even if the latter method is used, the screw crawls 5A, 5B & In order to forcibly apply an outward and downward twisting force 7 to each of the distrips F5 and F6 due to the frictional contact between 6A and 6B, so that they are spaced apart from each other in the width direction, the former method is similar to the second method. The method has the same drawbacks as the former method (also when the number of strips varies).

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and to separate a plurality of narrow strips from each other without applying unreasonable force to the narrow strips being conveyed in the same state as the wide strips before cutting. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for separating and conveying strips by separating and conveying them into strips, and it is another object of the present invention to provide a method for separating and conveying strips in a relatively compact manner even when the number of strips is varied. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method capable of separating and conveying strip-shaped objects.

The method of the present invention is characterized by cutting the wide strip-shaped beggar into a plurality of narrow strips along its length while conveying it in the length direction, and cutting each of the cut narrow strips into a plurality of narrow strips. In the method for separating and conveying strips separated and conveyed at a distance from each other, the narrow strips after cutting are conveyed together at the front in the conveyance direction? (・A cylindrical separating guide member is installed so as to intersect with the conveyance direction of each narrow strip. Air is ejected from the surface of the separating guide member, and the air jet pressure is applied to the outer periphery of the separating guide member. The narrow strips 7 are floated along the conveyance direction, and the narrow strips 7 are separated and conveyed at a distance from each other without changing the direction of conveyance.

As explained above, the present invention cuts a wide strip into a plurality of narrow strips along the length while conveying the wide strip, and cuts each of the cut narrow strips into a plurality of narrow strips. Separation and conveyance method for belt-like objects that are separated and conveyed so as to be spaced apart from each other Kg
A cylindrical separating guide member is disposed 16 in front of the conveying direction in which the cut narrow strips are conveyed together, and intersects with the conveying direction of each narrow strip. The air is jetted out, and each narrow strip is floated along the outer periphery of the separation guide member by the air jet pressure, and the narrow strips are separated from each other in a forward direction in the conveying direction. Since this is a method for separating and conveying strips, it is possible to avoid applying excessive force to the plurality of narrow strips that are being conveyed in the same condition as the wide strips before cutting. These can be separated and conveyed in a state where they are spaced apart from each other, thereby preventing the occurrence of damage such as breakage or DB deformation, abrasion scratches, or scratches caused by static electricity on the narrow strip-shaped object. Moreover, even when the number of narrow strips varies, each narrow strip can be separated and conveyed using a compact structure.

l) Cutting a wide strip into a plurality of narrow strips in the longitudinal direction while conveying the wide strip, and separating and conveying the cut narrow strips so as to separate them from each other. A separating and conveying method for strip-shaped articles 1cj6, in which a cylindrical separating guide member is provided at the front in the conveying direction in which the narrow strip-like articles after cutting are conveyed together. Air is jetted from the entrance surface of the separation guide member, and each narrow strip is floated along the outer periphery of the separation guide member by the air jet pressure, and each narrow strip is moved while changing the conveyance direction. A method for separating and conveying a strip-shaped article, characterized in that the strips are separated and conveyed in a state where they are spaced apart from each other.
