The insulation surface structure of a refrigerated container that has an outer panel, an inner panel, and a heat insulating material filled between them, and the inner panel consists of many rectangular metal plates connected in series by welding their side edges together. 1. A heat insulating surface structure characterized in that the area of each metal plate except near the periphery of the body is at least partially recessed toward the outer plate.
