Claims

The handset and base unit have two rotatable hooks on the base unit that lock the handset by connecting to hook grooves formed on the rear edge of the receiver and the front edge of the transmitter of the handset, and these hooks lock. 1. A telephone set comprising: a spring that biases the handset to rotate in a direction; a lock release button that acts on both hooks to release the lock; and a push-up mechanism that pushes up the receiver of the handset when the lock is released.
