第１連結主体、上記第１、連結部の径方向内周面に環状
空隙を介して対向する磁性材からなる１組の第２連結部
を有し、外周部に開口した環状溝を有する第２連結主体
、上記環状空隙に封入された磁性粒子、この磁性粒子を
磁化して上記第１連結主体と第２連結主体との連結部を
制御する上記第２連結主体の環状溝に内蔵された電磁コ
イル、上記電磁コイルの外周部と上記環状空隙の間の開
口部を物理的にしゃ断する非金属材料、および上記電磁
コイルに通電する給電装置を備えたことを特徴とする磁
性粒子式電磁連結装置。(1) A first connecting body having a cylindrical first connecting part made of a magnetic material, a pair of second connecting parts made of a magnetic material facing the radially inner circumferential surface of the first connecting part with an annular gap interposed therebetween; a second connecting body having a connecting portion and an annular groove opened on the outer periphery; magnetic particles sealed in the annular gap; magnetizing the magnetic particles to connect the first connecting body and the second connecting body; an electromagnetic coil built into the annular groove of the second connection main body that controls the electromagnetic coil; a nonmetallic material that physically blocks the opening between the outer circumference of the electromagnetic coil and the annular gap; and energizing the electromagnetic coil.
