    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ピストン頂面に燃焼室を形成してなる直接噴射式ディー
    ゼルエンジンにおいて、ピストンの燃焼室の入口に中央
    方向に向って突出するリップ部を形成するとともに、上
    記燃焼室の底部中央にピストン頂面方向に突出する円錐
    状突起と、該円錐状突起を中心としピストン上面からみ
    て環状で、゛かつピストン頂面方向に向って突出する環
    状突起とを形成し、かつ燃焼噴射ノズルに、上記円錐状
    突起方向に指向する燃料噴孔と燃焼室側壁方向に指向す
    る燃料噴孔とを形成したことを特徴とする直接噴射式デ
    ィーゼルエンジン。
