FIGS. 1 and 2 are mounting diagrams showing a conventional mounting state of a coaxial cable. In each figure, 1 motherboard, 2

Pin, 5-pin coaxial cable, 6-pin inner insulator of coaxial cable 5, T-pin outer conductor of coaxial cable 5, 8-pin outer conductor T
The insulated wire 9 is the internal conductor of the coaxial cable 5. FIG. 2 shows an example of a connector used for mounting the 10-pin type. The conventional method for mounting the coaxial cable 5 is to first remove the outer sheath and internal insulator 6 of the coaxial cable 5 using a special tool, and attach the insulated wire 8 to the external conductor 7 by a method such as soldering. A terminal processing operation is performed in which an insulating tube is placed over the part, and then the connection with the daughter board connector pin 4 is usually performed as shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 2.

In the case shown in FIG. 2, after attaching contacts to the inner conductor 9 and the center conductor of the insulated wire 8, insert the contacts into the connector 10, and attach the connector 10 to the connector pin 4. .

According to the conventional mounting method as described above, it is impossible to avoid attaching the insulated wire 8 to the outer conductor 7 and the complicated processing involved in the terminal processing of the coaxial cable 5, which increases the manufacturing time. It is impossible to avoid a decrease in reliability due to an increase in costs and an increase in the amount of processing work.

In addition, although the signal that leads to the outer conductor T of each coaxial cable 5 is actually a common ground signal, it is possible to connect as many connectors as the number of outer conductors of the required coaxial cables.
Since pin 4 is required, this also hinders the improvement of packaging density. The present invention relates to a connector which eliminates the need for complicated terminal processing of coaxial cables as described above, provides a more reliable coupling method, and improves packaging density.

After inserting the contacts 18 into the connector 11 of the invention, the connection between the V1 coaxial cable and the connector 3 is achieved by inserting the connector 11 into the connector pins 4. Incidentally, in the above description, an example of a combination of mutual connections between contacts has been described for a coaxial cable, but it goes without saying that the present invention can be used for other types of connections.
