Claims

In a press mold holder that uses a stock block to hold the upper mold of the press mold with an appropriate gap between it and the lower mold, the stock block is formed in a hollow shape from a material that has elasticity. When storing the press mold, the upper mold is lifted to a height that creates an appropriate gap between it and the lower mold against the weight of the upper mold, and during press molding, the upper mold is raised to the level of the lower mold by the molding pressure. The stock block is formed to be compressible and is fitted into a guide post provided on the lower mold with a space therebetween, and its height is higher than the stroke end pipe provided on the lower mold. A press mold holder, characterized in that the stock block is disposed on the lower mold, and a washer is provided at the upper end of the stock block.
