Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove internal stresses generated due to heat transferring and obtain the titled molded article free from generation of solvent cracks, by a method wherein a different-colored part is provided on the outside surface of a molded article by pressure heat transferring, and after an annealing treatment, a transparent coated film is provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:For example, a main body 3 of the molded article provided with a projected part 3a corresponding to the different-colored part 4 on the outside surface thereof is molded from a synthetic resin, thereafter pressure heat transferring is conducted on the projected part 3a by a hot stamp or the like to produce a transfer film 6 constituting the different-colored part 4, and then an annealing treatment is conducted, generally by heating to 80 deg.C for 3hr. Subsequently, a transparent coated film 7 is formed on an upper part of the different- colored part 4, generally by using a transparent clear coating material, to obtain the objective molded article such as a rear panel 2 of an automobile. The transparent coated film 7 is preferably provided on the entire part of the outside surface in view of appearance and utility as a protective film.

Next, the annealing process in the conventional method is omitted, and the process moves on to the degreasing process. Of course, the annealing process may also be performed here. After the degreasing process, a hot stamp A-0) similar to the conventional method is used to stamp the protrusions 6a on the outer surface of the molded product body B, as shown in Fig. 5. The transfer film 6 constituting the different color portion 4 is formed by pressure and heat transfer using a suftamp. For the stamps, use M-1FI pot stamp fillo, which uses vapor-deposited foil such as aluminum or black, and use metallic jjll.

After the annealing process, topcoat CtS+! The second step is the same as the conventional one, and as shown in Figure 6, the transparent rear 41 produces a W color i'ζl (, ';) A transparent film 7 is formed on the upper part of the transfer film B which forms part 4.The transparent coating 7 is a protective film and is formed on the upper part of the transfer film 6. However, if the lunes are formed on the entire outward curve as in the example, it becomes a protective coating, which improves the coating effect and improves the appearance. This transparent coating film 7 may be colored, or if it is colorless and transparent, it can be recognized from the outside by using the color tone of the Narui product body 6 itself or the color tone of the grass-colored portion 5! do. After forming a transparent coating film, a finished cedar product is completed by firing f=t to 1j.

In the above description, the pressure thermal transfer is not limited to hot stamping or high-frequency wells, but may be performed by other means, and the convex portion 6a on the outer surface may be omitted depending on the method. In some cases, a recess may be formed. Another coating film may be formed before or after the formation of the thin transfer film 6 or after the transparent coating 11\7 is formed, thereby forming as many as 11 Pals with different color tones.
