Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of a device, by constituting a head block wherein a printer head and a read head are formed in one body by coming close them and operating the block by a single driving system. CONSTITUTION:A read mode is set by a mode changeover switch 17 and an information input card 1 is inserted into a holder 2. A motor 9 rotates a head block control cam 7 under the command of a CPU13 to move the head block 6 to left and right, and the read head part heads information on the card 1 and stores it in the CPU13. Once one line is read laterally, a motor 5 is driven to turn a cam shaft 3, moving the card holder 2 by one line. All lines are read and stored in the CPU13. The card 1 is extracted, the mode switch 17 is placed at a print mode position, and an input information confirmation card is inserted into the card holde 2. Then, the card holder 2 and head block 6 are moved similarly to reading operation and data is printed by the printer head part of the head block 6 simultaneously.
