A box-shaped ventilation box is attached to the box-shaped stator frame, and the ventilation box is equipped with multiple axial heat transfer tubes. In a fully enclosed external fan-shaped rotating electric machine, in which internal air that has cooled wires, etc. is circulated from the axial center into the ventilation box, through the heat transfer tubes, and back into the stator frame from both axial end surfaces, the ventilation box is removed from the stator frame.
